CHILDREN
As the adult on the membership, you are the person responsible for your children and guests. You or the adult member your children came to the pool with, must be always present on the pool deck. The number one responsibility of our lifeguards is to watch the water and keep all swimmers safe, not to babysit. Please know that if you leave your children unsupervised at the pool your membership may be revoked. Exceptions follow:
- Rising sixth grade students and older can take a swim test with their guardian present in order to swim at the pool without an adult member. This is a privilege and can be revoked if needed.
- If you have a rising sixth grader or older, and they want to bring a guest to swim without you present, you cannot just drop them off. You must stay until the guest passes the swim test as well.
GUESTS
All guests must be accompanied by a member. Waiver and release must be signed by adult in guest log. All us of all facilities shall be at the guest’s sole risk.
Guests can only visit 5 times a summer. This number of visits is in total. If you have a guest that is looking for a membership, tell them to email us and we can work something outl
CHAIRS
Limit one pair of lounge chairs per family. It is always ok if you bring a stadium chair or lounge chair for your kids or guests. In general, we like to try to limit the use of lawn chairs to our ADULT members as a courtesy!
DIVING BOARDS
When jumping off of the dives, wait on the ground until the jumper in front of you has gone off the board. You may jump when they have reached the ladder. Goggles and floats are NOT permitted off the high dive.
FLOATS, TOYS, and HYGIENE
Floats are ok, but they should be for one individual, taken out of the pool when you are not using it, and brought home that same day. Lifeguards can stop the use of floats at any time to assure all swimmers safe.
Pool toys are ok, but please limit the use of balls to softer nerf-like materials in the pool. Basketballs are only allowed while using the basketball goal in the pool and should not be thrown across the pool.
Swimsuits and floats used in rivers, lakes, creeks, or oceans should not be brought into the pool. Bacteria can be transferred from the float to the pool water which can lead to big issues with the water chemistry.
Please do not flush items in the toilets. Dispose of swim diapers and personal items in the provided restroom trash cans.
